Where in canada? There's a bunch of kung fu in various cities, but you're going to have to be a little more specific about the city..

I'm not sure, but I would be skeptical about the "chain" called Temple Kung-Fu.. From my experience it is fundamentally a great school, but it's Kempo with a little bit of taoist theory, definitely not any kind of Shaolin that I've seen. Or "white tiger", which from what I've investigated does not exist in China.

I know of a few genuine chinese shifus in Toronto and Vancouver.

I'm studying Northern Praying Mantis Kung Fu with Sifu John Hum (wutancanada.com/idx_p5.html ) here in Ottawa - I'm quite new at it (less than 6 months), but I love it.

I really appreciate how he takes the time for individual attention, as well as breaking down the movements.
